For participation in Imagine Cup Armenia you should:

familiarize with the Competition conditions,
fill in the Software Design (SD) Application Form,
send it to apply@imaginecup.am or submit to Microsoft Innovation Center at State Engineering University of Armenia Building #10, 6th Floor.

Develop your skills

Many students around the world study Computer Science degrees which don’t include developing skills on the Microsoft platform and .NET in particular. This is in contrast to industry were a large proportion of the IT industry standardize on .NET as a development platform. The SD competition is a great opportunity for students to take a real-world problem and apply their knowledge of software development and develop an innovative and creative solution using the .NET Framework.

Help your CV and career

With a bundle of new skills in developing innovative applications on the .NET Framework you already are much more marketable in applying for graduate or placement jobs. But there are many more skills you will pick up along the way which are equally as valuable. An Imagine Cup Armenia entrant will gain lots of new ‘CV-sellable’ skills such as new technology knowledge, writing/documentation skills, presentation skills, business development knowledge, team working, innovative thinking and problem solving to name but a few. We would recommend that if you enter the Imagine Cup you use the great experience of the SD competition to sell yourself in graduate/placement interviews

Life-changing experience

Besides the prize money that best teams will gain at a competition, winners of international competition may have the opportunity to participate in the final stage of the Imagine Cup SD competition to be held in Australia. In the previous years the Imagine Cup SD worldwide finals were held all around the world at exciting venues such as New York, Warsaw, Cairo, Paris, Barcelona, Sao Paulo, Yokohama, Delhi and Seoul.
